Are store bought logs better than real wood?
Only for convenience. Manufacturers still recommend regular cleaning by a professional.The logs are said to be "clean burning", that just means they produce little or no ashes. The flue still needs to be cleaned.
Do I need to do anything before the technician arrives?
No. Our service technicians take care of it all.
Is there a mess?
No. Our technicians are neat, courteous and professional. They use a tarp in front of the fireplace, as well as an industrial vacuum with a hepa filter.
Are the animals harmed when the are removed?
No. Families are kept together to minimize the stress (especially on babies), and handling is kept to a minimum.
